DESCRIPTION:This session is part 4 of a 4-part series. \nPresented by Keli Krueger-Huhra\, Director – Illinois APEX Accelerator at Champaign County EDC \nIn accordance with 49 CFR Part 26 the Illinois Department of Transportation Office of Business and Workforce Diversity administers the DBE program.  The DBE regulations mandate that minority and women owned businesses be afforded the opportunity to participate in IDOT federally assisted highway\, transit and airport contracts.  Businesses involved in highway construction-related services (non-vertical)\, consultants\, and supplier/equipment\, rental/trucking services are considered for participation in IDOT’s DBE Program.
